In the heart of the Anjou wine-growing region
We are a small family company based in Martigné Briand, in the heart of the Anjou region. Since 1870 from one generation to the next, our ambition has been to obtain the finest quality. Our ancestors have handed down to us the same passion that inspired them : wine.
Born and bred in the Loire Valley, we are specialised in wine production in our family vineyard, “The Domaine de Flines”, and the sale of local wines in bottles or in bulk both in France and in the export market.
“Domaine de Flines” wines are highly original, and full of character. They are produced on 47 hectares of clayey, chalky soil from all the traditional Anjou grape varieties : Chenin blanc, Cabernet, Grolleau de Cinq Mars, Grolleau Gris and Chardonnay.
Thanks to a well equipped, modern cellar we use different methods of wine production : maceration, carbonic maceration, low temperature fermentation etc. The wines we obtain are all very original, and the characteristics of each grape variety, produced using the most suitable methods, are fully respected.
We give a great deal of care and attention to the conservation of our products. Some of our wines are aged in oak casks, and others are bottled on site in the spring following the harvest. The in-house bottling process, using high quality machinery, guarantees the authenticity of the product.
Les Vins Mottron sell wines from the Domaine de Flines, as well as from other Loire Valley vineyards. In this way we can offer a full range of wines, from Muscadet, the Anjou wines, and wines from Saumur, Touraine, Sancerre and Pouilly.
Our main aim is service to the client in the way we are always ready to listen to the needs of each and every one.
